This Cookie Policy explains how StreamLine AI ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies (collectively, "cookies") on the StreamLine AI website, web application, and Chrome extension (the "Service"). It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They allow the site to recognize your device, remember preferences, and measure how the site is used. We also use closely related technologies such as browser localStorage, sessionStorage, and Chrome extension chrome.storage; for simplicity we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.
2. How we categorize cookies
Cookies on StreamLine AI fall into three categories:
- Strictly necessary — required for the Service to function (authentication, session management, security). These cannot be disabled.
- Functional — remember preferences and improve your experience (language, region, extension-installed flag, onboarding progress, demo cards state). The Service is usable without these but loses convenience.
- Analytics — help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it (currently limited to internal error and diagnostic logging). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

4. Third-party cookies
Some pages of the Service load resources from third parties that may set their own cookies. We do not control these cookies; please review the third party's policy.
- Stripe — sets cookies on Stripe-hosted checkout and customer-portal pages for payment processing and fraud prevention.
- Google — sets cookies during the Google OAuth sign-in flow for account selection and security.
- Vercel — sets infrastructure cookies for routing requests.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or any third-party cross-site tracking on the Service.
5. Your choices
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block, delete, or be notified when cookies are set. Refer to your browser's help docs. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break authentication and the Service will not work.
- Extension storage. You can clear the extension's stored data by removing or reinstalling the StreamLine AI Chrome extension.
- Account deletion. Contact us at support@streamlineai.live to request deletion of your account and associated server-side data.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no industry-standard interpretation of this signal, the Service does not currently respond to it. We instead rely on the cookie categories described above and the choices you make.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the updated Cookie Policy.
